Ecommerce stores built around how you actually sell

From a focused D2C store to a B2B ordering portal with customer-specific pricing, we build ecommerce that fits your catalogue, your margins and the way your orders are fulfilled.

About ecommerce development

Selling online rarely fails at the storefront. It fails at the seams: variants that do not match how the product is really sold, shipping charges that guess wrong, stock counts that drift out of sync with the warehouse, and an order flow that leaves your team copying details into a spreadsheet. We build stores with those seams closed, whether you sell fifty products to consumers or five thousand line items to trade buyers.

Is this for you

Signs your store has outgrown its setup

Usually a good fit for

  • Retailers and brands moving from marketplace-only selling to their own store
  • Manufacturers and distributors who want trade buyers to place orders themselves
  • Businesses with customer-specific pricing, credit terms or minimum order quantities
  • Sellers whose current platform charges per transaction and limits customisation
  • Businesses running a store that no longer matches their catalogue or dispatch process

Signs it is time

  • Marketplace commissions leave very little margin and no direct customer relationship
  • The template store cannot express how the product is genuinely configured or priced
  • Stock shown online does not match what is in the warehouse
  • Trade customers phone or WhatsApp their orders, which someone then retypes
  • Shipping charges are guessed, so either the customer or the business loses
What we build

Stores and ordering systems we build

01

Direct-to-consumer stores

Catalogue, variants, cart, checkout, payment, order confirmation and a customer account area with order history and reorder.

02

B2B and wholesale ordering portals

Login-only catalogues with customer-specific price lists, minimum order quantities, credit terms, bulk order entry and downloadable invoices.

03

Catalogue and enquiry stores

For products that are quoted rather than sold at a fixed price: full catalogue browsing with a request-for-quotation flow instead of a checkout.

04

Subscription and repeat ordering

Recurring orders, scheduled deliveries and saved order templates for customers who buy the same items regularly.

05

Store operations back office

Order management, dispatch status, returns handling, stock adjustments and a reporting view for the people running the store day to day.

06

Migration from an existing platform

Moving products, customers, order history and URLs from Shopify, WooCommerce or a custom store, with 301 redirects and URL mapping to protect existing rankings.

How a store project runs

Typical timeline: 6 to 9 weeks, depending on scope and how quickly access and content arrive.

  1. 013-5 days

    Catalogue and commercial review

We map how products are structured, priced, taxed, packed and shipped. This is where most store projects are won or lost.

  2. 023-5 days

    Store architecture

Category structure, variant model, pricing rules, tax treatment, shipping logic and the customer journey from landing to reorder.

  3. 031 week

    Design and prototype

Storefront, product page, cart and checkout designed and reviewed. Checkout gets the most attention because it carries the revenue.

  4. 043-5 weeks

    Build and integrate

Storefront, admin, payment gateway, shipping and tax logic, invoice generation and any connections to your existing systems.

  5. 051 week

    Test with real orders

Live test transactions, refund flow, tax calculations verified against sample invoices, courier labels checked, edge cases exercised.

  6. 06Ongoing

    Launch and monitor

Go live with monitoring on payments and orders, backed by our 30-day bug-fix warranty while real customers use it.

Business benefits

What your own store changes

What tends to happen, not a guarantee.

  1. 1

    Margin you keep

Selling from your own store removes marketplace commission from every order and gives you the customer relationship as well.

  2. 2

Orders that do not need retyping

When trade customers place their own orders, your team stops transcribing WhatsApp messages and phone calls into a system.

  3. 3

    Stock people can trust

Synchronised inventory means fewer oversells, fewer apologies and fewer refunds.

  4. 4

    Invoicing that is already correct

GST-compliant invoices generated at the point of order remove a recurring accounting cleanup task.

  5. 5

    Visibility into what sells

Product, category and channel level reporting shows where the revenue comes from.

Questions

Ecommerce development FAQs

Ask us directly
Should I use Shopify or a custom store?

If you sell straightforward products at list price to consumers, Shopify is often the sensible choice and we will say so. Custom becomes worth it when you have customer-specific pricing, complex product configuration, B2B credit terms, deep integration with an existing ERP, or transaction volume where platform fees become significant. We assess this before quoting rather than defaulting to the more expensive answer.

Can you handle GST invoicing properly?

Yes. Invoices are generated with HSN codes, the correct CGST/SGST or IGST split based on the place of supply, sequential invoice numbering and your business details. We test this against sample invoices your accountant approves before launch.

Which payment gateway do you recommend?

For Indian customers, Razorpay and Cashfree are both reliable and support UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets. For international sales, Stripe or PayPal. The right choice depends on your settlement cycle, transaction fees and whether you need international currency support, which we work through during scoping.

Can trade customers see their own prices?

Yes. Customers can be assigned to price groups so each buyer sees their agreed rates, minimum order quantities and credit terms after logging in. This is one of the most common reasons businesses move away from a standard template store.

Will migrating lose my search rankings?

Done carefully, the risk is small, though no one can promise zero movement. We map every existing product and category URL to its new address with 301 redirects, preserve page titles and descriptions, and submit an updated sitemap. Some fluctuation for a few weeks is normal, and a faster site tends to help afterwards.

Can the store connect to my existing inventory system?

In most cases yes. If your system has an API we connect directly. If it only exports files, we build a scheduled import. If it is a spreadsheet, we can either read it from a shared drive or replace it with something more reliable, and we will explain the trade-offs.
