This site uses very few cookies, and none of them before you agree. This page explains exactly what is set and when.
The short version
No tracking or analytics cookie is set when you first arrive. Nothing loads until you choose 'Accept' on the cookie notice. If you decline, or simply ignore the notice, no analytics script is loaded at all.
Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, so it is stored on your device and never sent to us.
What is actually used
- Consent preference (always)
- A single value in browser local storage recording whether you accepted or declined analytics. It contains no identifier and is not transmitted anywhere.
- Google Analytics (only after you accept)
- If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions so we can see which pages are read and which buttons are used. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We use this to decide what to write and improve, not to build profiles.
- No advertising cookies
- We do not run advertising pixels, retargeting tags or social media tracking scripts on this site.
Changing your choice
Use the buttons on this page to accept or decline at any time; the change applies straight away. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser; the site works normally either way.
Pages we do not control
If you follow a link to LinkedIn, those services set their own cookies under their own policies. This notice covers only this website.
