Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer with 4–6 years of experience building web applications. The role involves designing, developing and maintaining client systems, including websites, business portals, APIs and automation solutions.

The candidate should be able to translate client requirements into reliable, maintainable software and take ownership of features from technical design through deployment and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain web applications, business portals and APIs using React, Next.js, Node.js and TypeScript
  • Translate client requirements into technical designs, effort estimates and working features
  • Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces that work across devices and browsers
  • Work with relational databases to support application features and maintain data integrity
  • Integrate third-party systems, payment gateways and external APIs
  • Implement authentication, role-based access and secure handling of application data
  • Write maintainable code with appropriate unit and integration tests, and take part in code reviews
  • Deploy, monitor and support live applications, troubleshoot issues and improve performance
  • Collaborate with clients and the team, and maintain clear technical documentation
  • Support the business development team with technical feasibility assessments, project scoping and estimates

Required Experience and Skills

  • 4–6 years of professional experience in web application development
  • Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, Node.js and TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and responsive design
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Understanding of authentication, authorisation and application security
  • Experience with Git, code reviews and deployment to cloud or managed hosting platforms
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues across the front end, back end and database
  • Ability to deliver features independently and manage agreed timelines
  • Clear written and verbal communication for client discussions and team coordination

Preferred Experience

  • Advanced SQL, query optimisation and database design
  • React Native or other mobile app development experience
  • Docker, CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Integrating AI APIs and building automation workflows with tools such as n8n
  • Experience in an IT services environment, delivering projects for external clients

Qualifications

B.Tech / B.E., MCA, BCA or B.Sc. in Computer Science or IT, or equivalent practical experience.
